About Us
Aero-One Aviation was formed in March 2010 by our owner, C. Chris Dupree whose passion for aviation dates back many years. Having grown the families Telcom/Broadband business since 1990 to the sale of it in 2008, Chris was looking for another passion to get involved in when he birthed the idea of Aero-One Aviation. Both he and his oldest son, Stone Dupree, are private pilots, so they know what first class FBO services is all about. Stone is Director of Business Development and Contracting at Aero-One. Spencer Dupree, Chris’s youngest son, came to work in December 2021 after 2 years of experience working at the Auburn Airport in Auburn, AL and he serves today as Operations Manager. In 2019, we were selected to be one of 80, at the time, Air Elite facilities by World Fuel which is a group of FBO’s that are recognized for their over and beyond service culture. We have been both fortunate and blessed to have been ranked in the top 5% of FBO’s in the Americas for 2023 and the top 10% the previous 4 years. We were also selected as a finalist for Alabama Small Business of the Year award in 2022.
